Holiday House Tour Itinerary
Complimentary tickets are available to anyone staying at a participating B&B or through eventbrite.com after mid-November. All proceeds go to SCAAP. Tickets are available to the general public at $20 per person. The tour hours are noon until 5 PM with an evening program at Christ Lutheran Church on Chambersburg Street, Gettysburg. The evening festivities begins at 7:30 PM with a musical prelude and the program runs from 8-9 PM. Civil War Christmas songs will be part of the sing along portion of the program and a free will donation is requested.

The following Properties are on the 2018 Holiday House Tour and Tasting

Dec. 8th 2018, 12 to 5pm
General Tour; $20 per person, self-driving tour;
  • Dobbin House- ½ hr tour available from 9 till 11am. Built in 1776 by the Reverend Alexander Dobbin, this stone farmhouse was part of the Underground Railroad and the Battle of Gettysburg. On this guided tour, guests will be treated to beautiful colonial era Christmas decorations and will set the mood for the rest of the House Tour. Address: 89 Steinwehr Ave, Gettysburg PA
  • The Little Round Top Farm. Jacob and Tillie Weikert and their four children, Henry, Elizabeth Ann, Amanda, and baby John lived here during the Battle of Gettysburg in July 1863. Address: 991 Taneytown Road, Gettysburg PA

Who Would Enjoy the Tour?
Everyone who enjoys the beauty and festivity of the holiday season. Children 10 years of age and older are welcome to take the tour.

Special Considerations
The tour includes some walking and you will also need to be able to navigate stairs, as almost every stop on the tour will require you to walk up and down stairs.
