Barker House Bed & Breakfast
Built in 1794 by Richard Knight as an Inn the Barker House Bed & Breakfast is the second oldest home in New Oxford. Today this Federal style home welcomes guest from around the world. From the moment you walk through the door you will experience the feeling of coming home. Four comfortable guest rooms and a pet-friendly Cottage all with private bath. A full three course breakfast to start your day, a beverage and home made treats await your return. You are welcome to sit on the side porch or enjoy the garden.

The farmhouse served as headquarters for General Wesley Merritt. The barn was a field hospital. Our Farmhouse has ten guest rooms and an indoor event venue. The Historic Barn has one luxury guest room and a wedding venue.

The Brickhouse Inn consists of two historic buildings: the 1830 Welty House (with bullet scars from the Battle) and the 1898 Victorian mansion. Set in beautiful landscaped gardens, the Inn is located in the downtown historic district, and is within easy walking distance of most shops and restaurants. We have fifteen guest rooms, all with private bathrooms, modern wall-mounted heating/air-conditioning units, and free WiFi. We serve a three-course cooked breakfast (on the patios in summer), and have free off-street parking.

Hickory Bridge Farm
A quaint country retreat offering 5 bedroom farmhouse (circa 1750’s) accommodations (some with whirlpool bath) and two duplex cottages with wood burning fireplaces. Dinner is served on weekends and some weeknights, in a beautiful barn. All meals are prepared from scratch and are served family-style features local wine and beverages. Full breakfast is served to guests at the farmhouse except on Sunday, when a basket breakfast is delivered to your room. Come and be spoiled!

Historic Fairfield Inn
This charming Inn has been in continuous operation since 1757. It has hosted Patrick Henry, Thaddeus Stevens, J.E.B. Stuart, Mamie Eisenhower and many others. The Inn at Herr Ridge
Current owner, Steven Wolf, purchased the establishment in 1977. After much research, Mr. Wolf realized the historic importance of Herr Tavern and revived it to its original purpose and present existence. Located on the fringe of the Battlefield, the Inn at Herr Ridge is close to the center of Gettysburg. Find yourself pulling into the Inn’s expansive parking area, leave your bags in the car, and be greeted at the door with an invitation to sit and enjoy a glass of bubbly by the fire. Your vacation begins here. Allow a cordial greeter to later escort and familiarize you with the intricacies of your unique guest room. James Gettys Hotel
The James Gettys Hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel has been restored as a boutique hotel with twelve tastefully appointed suites. Each with its own individual style and decor features a sitting room, kitchenette, bedroom and private bath. Keeping with the tradition of a bed and breakfast, you will be served a continental breakfast basket daily in the privacy of your suite. Lightner Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast
The Lightner Farmhouse is an 1862 Federal Style house just 3 miles from downtown Gettysburg situated on a 26 acre property. Our porches, patio and walking trails provide outdoor relaxation. Used as hospital following the Battle of Gettysburg, the house has been updated with all the 21st century amenities. A full cooked breakfast and afternoon snacks and beverages are available daily. Innkeepers Dennis and Eileen Hoover have 18 years experience welcoming guests to Gettysburg and are happy to share their knowledge of the area.
